Go Figurative is for people with a passion for figurative art. Go Figurative welcomes figurative sculptors, painters, photographers and print makers, collectors, critics, academics and anyone who just likes to look at figurative art.
You can find art for sale in the Featured Artists' Gallery and in the Members' Gallery.
Go Figurative Featured Artists have been chosen by the team here to demonstrate a diverse range of styles, skills and techniques.
Community Members can, by creating their own profile, upload art into the Members' Gallery, make their art available for sale, post blogs, make comments and buy art. Art schools are also welcome to create their own profile.
Go Figurative was co founded by Sally Perry and Janine Collins in November 2008.

Guest Article: How do you like your art?
I have worked in the art world for almost ten years and every now and then I am still surprised by the different viewpoints that exist on the topic. For example, when I work I have a very functional view - I tend to think of an artwork as a thing made out of canvas, paint, steel, bronze, plastic or a combination of materials. This thing (or pair of things) needs to be framed, installed, condition checked, repaired, crated, flown, customs cleared, preferably not damaged and especially not lost.
