Guest Article: How do you like your art?
I have worked in the art world for almost ten years and every now and then I am still surprised by the different viewpoints that exist on the topic. For example, when I work I have a very functional view - I tend to think of an artwork as a thing made out of canvas, paint, steel, bronze, plastic or a combination of materials. This thing (or pair of things) needs to be framed, installed, condition checked, repaired, crated, flown, customs cleared, preferably not damaged and especially not lost.

from figuration to abstraction
This piece stretches the definition of figurative, but the work is none the less a very clever representation of its subject. Thanks for sharing this. It's interesting to see you work in 2D as well as 3D.
Reference of figurazation
Yes it does stretch the definition, though, the original glass was used in a stain glass church window to display figures. I beleive I am referencing the narrative that originally existed with the glass with liberties on the form.
