Describe your early memories of your emerging talent as an artist?: 
As a child If I didn’t have pencil & paper I use to look at objects and draw and shade them in my mind.
Formal Training: 
Higher National Diploma in Advertising and Illustration Doncaster
Other influences: 
“Travel results in the opening of the door and the finding of inspiration in anything, from a contemplative beach stroll to a romantic encounter.”
Admired Artists: 
John Singer Sargent for his effortless brushwork.
Rembrandt for his treatment of chiaroscuro.
Role of figurative art: 
These days figurative/representational painting is important for documentation of life as we live it now, there is too much abstract and ‘naïve’ (so called for its lack of talent in my view) painting in too many galleries.
