Describe your early memories of your emerging talent as an artist?: 
As a youngster, I always seemed to have a pencil, pen or piece of charcoal in my hand and having drawing "competions" at home and in neighbours' houses.
Formal Training: 
Numerous courses in Portrait and Life painting at the NCAD, Dublin
Other influences: 
Light and its dynamic, and the moods and emotions conveyed by expressions and body language.
Admired Artists: 
Too numerous to mention, no single major influence, but Rembrandt is there
Role of figurative art: 
Cannot immagine a more worthwhile subject matter than the face or the human form.
Favorite Gallery: 
Too Numerous.
