When did you first describe yourself as an artist?: 
Perhaps it's only in the last 10 years I'm becoming what the French call bien dans sa peau.
Describe your early memories of your emerging talent as an artist?: 
Art prize at school, spending the money on a book about the Symbolists.
Formal Training: 
Slade School of Art 1974 - 1978
Informal Training: 
The next 30 years unlearning the above.

Admired Artists: 
The list would be more of individual works, for instance:
Lampedusa's 'The Leopard'
Terrence Malick 'Days of Heaven'
Role of figurative art: 
Same as a good book or movie.
Other Interests: 
Since 1989 working as a sub-contractor doing specialist decoration for interiors (marmorino & cast plaster). Projects include the Royal Palace Amman, Sandy Lane Hotel.
